Efi Spiliopoulou is a certified 500-hour Yoga teacher with 20 years of teaching experience in various yoga systems. She is the general manager of NYSY Studios, a pioneer Yoga & Pilates Studio in the Athens, Greece since 2004. She is also the Academy Manager for the BASI Pilates Teacher Training Programs (500hr & 130hr) and ABHAYA Yoga at the NYSY Academy in Greece.
While traveling in India in 2000, she had her first contact with yoga and meditation and decided that this is the path she would like to follow in life.
She was taught various methods of meditation, relaxation and reiki at the Osho Meditation Center in India, she completed the Hatha & Raja Yoga Teacher School at the non-profit Association "Armoniki Zoi" (2002) and the 150hr Yoga Teacher Training of the "IAFA College" (2005) while at the same time continued to attend meditation and philosophy classes at “Omilos Meleton”.
She completed her 500 hour yoga teacher training program in 2013 at NYSY Studios Academy. She has studied different yoga systems with many teachers in Greece and internationally. She has been teaching Yoga since 2004 until today. In her classes, she emphasizes the absolute alignment of body and mind, through the practice of yoga, breathing and the fearless and upright life attitude both for her students and for herself.
